Dachshund Captured!
Dachshund captured in snafu car-theft
Lexington KY, Wednesday
Lexington KY, Wednesday
Late tuesday night, police captured a miniature dachshund along with thirty other cats and dogs at a Lexington pub. The dachshund, who they have identified as Remy Fleitas, was fur tested along with the other suspects. All resulted in positive for catnip use.
Remy is currently serving time at Fayette County Jail until investigators can find out exactly what the suspected "Tailyban" were planning. "When I asked him about Kneazle the cat, he just stared out the window," said lead investigator, Jerry Moobloo. "He was very silent on all issues. Whenever something uncomfortable would come up, he would just lick his balls. It was very odd."
Remy has also been involved in almost two prison brawls since his arrival at Fayette county jail. "It ain't a pretty place for a small pup like him," said Butch, a neighboring one-eyed pitbull who is currently in for 2 dog years. "Ain't a pretty place at all."

Lexington, KY- Wednesday: PUPPY CAR THEFT CONNECTED TO CATNIP TEENY BEANIE SCANDAL?
Lexington, KY- Wednesday
A local Kentucky resident's PT Cruiser went missing late last evening after she returned home from work. Immediately after contacting the police, the car was reported by local residents as it was seen swerving around downtown in the rain, stopping at various Humane Societies and Pet Clinics on the way.
Local night-shift guard, Cleatus McFrugal who was supposed to be watching a Lexington vet clinic was injured during the car robbery. "I was getting a snack out of the vending machines," said McFrugal. "All of the sudden, a small dachshund broke into the clinic, releasing several dogs and cats from their cages. They ran to the car and took off speeding...all that was left was a little note that said 'The Tailyban will rise again!' with a paw print seal on it. I don't know what that means. "
The car is still missing and authorities say that they might have a lead. "We suspect that this might be connected to the Catnip Teeny-Beanie scandal up in Oklahoma," said Sheriff Smitty. "We thought we got rid of the Tailyban back in the early eighties. Maybe a few survived. " He had no further comment.
